THE BEST FIREWORKS

March 30, 2006

In my lifetime, here are the best Fireworks that I had ever seen:

1) The Fireworks right in front of EDSA shrine during the 1986 revolution -It was the first time I saw  different kinds of fireworks illuminating the sky as such a memorable day, the day Marcos fled the Philippines marking the last day of the EDSA Revolution.

(From the pages of Phil History:

EDSA AND ELSEWHERE - Dancing in the streets, of course, fireworks, horn-honking and drum-beating, laughing, crying and embracing. Monumental traffic jams. Thousands staged a victory march from Crame to Malacañang, and everywhere people occupied the streets in cathartic celebration.  Sunday Times Feb 26,1986

2) The Fireworks Display at HK Disneyland-I have seen the Tokyo Disneyland Fireworks with my

husband when we were still dating and the Anaheim version but I can only remember the HK Disneyland Fireworks .It is memorable since I was with my entire family and I was embracing my two kids while Tony was beside us filming the entire show-that made it very memorable.

3. Fireworks at the Opening of the Singapore Esplanade.-Again ,it became memorable because my entire family was with me and the fireworks together with mime artists skydiving from the surrounding buildings made it a worthwhile experience

MISSED OUT ON TWO GREATFIREWORKS SHOWS:

1) We were in Macau in September and on our last day (Sept 10,2005), we missed out on

17th Macau International Fireworks Display Contest:
3,10,18,24 September & 1 October 2005
Venue: The waterfront near the Macau Tower

Macau International Fireworks Festival at the Macau Tower(which was a few blocks right behind our hotel.)

2) The Manila International Fireworks festival- Again we were in Manila last December but we heard the crowds were terrible so we didnt go and besides we were having our yearly family reunion(Dec 30)
